Ingredients

  1. Oil : 1 tsp
  2. Mustard: 1 tsp
  3. Chana dal: 1/2 tsp
  4. Urad dal : 1/2 tsp
  5. Chinese almonds : 12-15
  6. Cashew : 7-8
  7. Red Chilli : 2 t
  8. Cumin: 1/2 tsp
  9. Curry leaves : 6-7
  10. Ginger: 1/2 tsp
  11. Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
  12. Boiled rice : 1 plate
  13. Salt : To taste
  14. Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon

Method

  1. First in a pan fry 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp mustard, 1/2 tsp chana dal, 1/2 tsp urad dal together well.
  2. When these are fried, add sugared almonds and keep frying until they turn brown.
  3. Then add 2 red chillies, 1/2 tsp cumin, 6-7 curry leaves, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp turmeric and fry again for 20-30 seconds.
  4. When these are fried well, add 1 plate of boiled rice, salt to taste, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and mix well.
  5. After frying take it out of the oven and use Chinese almonds, cashews, curry leaves for garnish.
